Welcome to the next generation of the Web! E-mail

"Web 1.0 was making the Internet for people, Web 2.0 is making the Internet better for computers."
(Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO of amazon.com)

The Web 2.0 is often called “Platform of participation”. The 2.0 read-write Web appeared from the 1.0 read- only Web. Millions of users and on-line customers of the generation, which grew up with the Internet, visit such sites as MySpace, StudiVZ, YouTube, Flickr & co. for content production and consumption at the same time - the borders between production and consumption of information disappear. Rupert Murdoch learned this in 2005 and bought MySpace.

Products, services and information are in the Web 2.0-Timeage collectively rated, tagged and shared - the “Closed-loop” lives! Also the readiness to provide the social networks and Webblogs with personal information has never been so popular and the technical means of realization have never been so simple as today.

However why does Jeff Bezos, the founder of amazon.com and “Evangelist” of real-time analytics of online-personalizing, say that the Web 2.0 is made for computers?
